Canada-wide Study of Massage Therapy
A recent Ipsos Reid survey, “Complementary and Alternative Medicine in Canada: Trends in Use and Public Attitudes, 1997 – 2006”, showed that Canadians’ use of massage therapy outranked both chiropractic care and acupuncture as alternative treatments.

Do you Qualify for a Scholarship?
The Cory Mintz Scholarship Fund is awarded annually to a new enrollee at CCMH or WCCMT who has demonstrated leadership qualities through past dedication to activities in his or her community.

High school Co-op placements
In conjunction with the Halifax Regional School Board, CCMH offers high school students interested in exploring careers in Massage Therapy an opportunity to complete their Co-op placement with us.

Our Grads are Working!

Our graduates enjoy high employment rates in a variety of clinical and spa-based settings. According to a 2007 survey of recent CCMH – Halifax graduates, all respondents are currently employed as Registered Massage Therapists. … an appreciative graduate stated in their survey, “Thank-you to all the teachers who shared their knowledge, I love what I do and I feel prepared and business is great!” ? CCMH graduates are highly sought after by employers. An exclusive "premier partnership" agreement between the College and international top level spas means that our graduates go to the head of the line for great jobs throughout North America and around the globe. The self-employment rate for Registered Massage Therapists is exceptionally high - among the top for all employment categories. Other Registered Massage Therapists are employed in a variety of settings, including physiotherapy and chiropractic clinics, sports and recreation facilities, spas, resorts and cruise ships.
