Canada-wide Study of Massage Therapy
A recent Ipsos Reid survey, “Complementary and Alternative Medicine in Canada: Trends in Use and Public Attitudes, 1997 – 2006”, showed that Canadians’ use of massage therapy outranked both chiropractic care and acupuncture as alternative treatments.

Do you Qualify for a Scholarship?
The Cory Mintz Scholarship Fund is awarded annually to a new enrollee at CCMH or WCCMT who has demonstrated leadership qualities through past dedication to activities in his or her community.

High school Co-op placements
In conjunction with the Halifax Regional School Board, CCMH offers high school students interested in exploring careers in Massage Therapy an opportunity to complete their Co-op placement with us.

High school Co-op placements

At a recent awards ceremony, CCMH Executive Director Kathleen Jacques received a certificate of appreciation from the Halifax Regional School Board, recognizing our College for its contribution to HRM's Community Based Learning program. Througout the year, local Co-operative Education students are given an opportunity to learn more about careers in Massage Therapy by attending classes at our campus. Students who are interested in completing their Co-op placements at CCMH Halifax should contact their school officials or Phone the campus at 832-3268, ext. 105 or e-mail halifax@collegeofmassage.com.
