We are leaders in Massage Therapy research. CCMH's Executive Director, Dr. Kathleen Jacques, has been named as a principal researcher in a pilot study undertaken with Dalhousie University's Department of Health Sciences and the Nova Scotia Hospital's Addictions Unit. This study has been awarded a significant research grant from the Holistic Health Research Foundation of Canada in conjunction with the Massage Therapy Research Fund.

Registered Massage Therapists are also employed in a variety of settings, including physiotherapy and chiropractic clinics, sports and recreation facilities, spas, resorts and cruise ships.

Headaches are mainly due to soft tissue dysfunction…tight neck and back muscles.
