The Cory Mintz Scholarship Fund is awarded annually to a new enrollee at CCMH or WCCMT who has demonstrated leadership qualities through past dedication to activities in his or her community.

How long is the massage therapy program of study?

The Massage Therapy Diploma program at WCCMT is a 3,000 hour program of academic and clinical study. The program offered is designed to be completed in 27 months.

What are the start dates?

New classes start every January, May, and September. For a specific breakdown of school terms and break periods return to the calendar section.

Is financial assistance available?

The West Coast College of Massage Therapy offers a program of study which is registered under the Private Career Training Institutions Agency; therefore financial assistance may be available to eligible students. To apply for student aid, go to www.studentaidbc.ca.

What is the cost of tuition?

The cost of completing the 3000-hour (27.5 months) training program is $27,750.00.

Do you have campus tours?

Yes. Tours of the New Westminster campus can be booked by appointment by contacting Admissions at 604 520 1844 ext 223 or 248 or 1-888-449-2242 ext 223 or 248 or e-mail: admissionsassistant@collegeofmassage.com. We also hold Information Sessions and offer "Student for a Day" programs for prospective students wanting to explore a career in massage therapy. High school students can arrange job-shadowing by having their school counsellor contact WCCMT admissions.

Is there a charge for the Student for a Day?

No, this program is free and so is our Admissions Open Houses for the Registered Massage Therapy and Spa Practitioner programs. These are available to students investigating a career in massage therapy who wish to experience first-hand what WCCMT has to offer.

What are your prerequisites?

Applicants must have a minimum of high school graduation for the Registered Massage Therapy program and Spa Practitioner program and grade twelve(12) English (at 70%) for the Registered Massage Therapy program. Applicants are required to have successfully completed a three-day Introduction to Massage weekend workshop offered at WCCMT.

How can I determine if a course I have taken elsewhere will meet the prerequisite requirements at WCCMT?

If you are uncertain whether your course meets WCCMT requirements, please provide us with a copy of your transcripts and a description (course outline) of the course or courses for which you are seeking equivalency. If necessary we will conduct a prior learning assessment to determine which courses may be transferable. There is a $250 fee for this service.
